http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xvnsIodU34&NR=1 We all love that scene, a King being denounced by a Peasant that starts screaming about being suppressed… BUT then we are that Peasants.
We are free correct? Of course it’s Canada…
I basically had no garbage service for 3-4 weeks, and when I complained to City hall I was told I would have to pay in full regardless. They quoted a bylaw saying its “essentially” a contract with me…how? I never signed it…I don’t want the city Garbage, I want a private company; Then I could reason with or not pay if they don’t show up. Rather than offering to make things “Right” the city threatened me with fines and interest or even loosing my house…for service they didn’t provide…

So Translink puts fees on my property tax rising well above the
rate of inflation, and they put fees on my Gas, and fees on my house Natural
Gas….so how do they have the power?? how do they have contract with me? I asked
Translink if they were the Province and they said no they are just a Corperation, so
I asked them for a copy of the contract with me and they said they are owned by
the Province so this “essentially” a contract with me appears again…for
services I don’t agree with…

We were looking for a new business and we thought lets open an environmental
bus company in Langley,
maybe using electric vehicles from a Delta company 'Dynasty'. We started
looking into it and were told, by Translink, that it would be illegal for
anyone except Translink to run a bus company in BC. I asked if I ran a company regardless,
not recognizing Translink as an authority over me, what would happen? would the
Province stop me or Translink? No response except to tell me it is illegal.

We have no rights in this expensive “Free” Country, it frustrates me to the point I could wipe my ass with a Canadian or BC Flag and look to the old flags when Magna-Carta meant something, when we were supposed to have rights as natural people born to God.
If we paid 100% of our money to taxes and the government prvided food and shelter, is that socialism or would we be slaves? Slave is a strong word, so maybe its just socialism, but still not a nice idea to most.
If I tell you now as an average Canadian, or Canadian family, you pay some 45-55% of you money to taxes, fees and levies what would you think?
If you add in the insurance you are "required to have" such as house insurance (if you have a mortage you have house insurance), Car insurance, Medical Premiums, EI Insurance...
As an average Canadian you spend 50-60% of your income to Tax and required insurance...and its continues to rise.
Lets say it rises 1% a year which is modest compared to reality, then in under 40 years from now we are slaves, with 100% of our income spoken for by a greater force.
Of course this wont happen...but what will?
