What fictional creature do you wish were real?
I would love for Brianna to see a real fairy. We read 'Peter Pan' and the series of Tinkerbell & Friends chapeter books, and she learned that everytime a child stops believing, a fairy dies. Since then, she has told me that she believes in fairies. End of. Who am I to try and change her mind?
Disney is coming out with a 'Tinkerbell' movie, and she asked me, "How does Tinkerbell make the movie?" I foolishly told her that Tinkerbell doesn't make it... she's a cartoon that someone draws. She was very quiet after that.
I'm sure she knows deep down that there is no such thing as fairies, but I don't think she could admit it... the thought of killing a wee fairy somewhere would be too much for her little heart to handle.
What's going to happen when she realizes there's no Santa, Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy either?
